The corpus callosum is a large, C-shaped nerve fiber bundle found in the brain. It stretches across the midline of the brain, connecting the left and right brain hemispheres. The brain is divided into two hemispheres (right and left). The corpus callosum connects the left and right hemispheres and carries information received in one hemisphere over to the other.
